My Journey to God

Being Present

I sit in the silence,
Watching, listening,
Quieting my thoughts,
Looking with love
On the Eucharistic Presence
Of the Blessed Sacrament.

What brings me here?
He called, I answered.
Nothing more,
He desires my presence,
Sitting here, all alone,
So Love can enter my soul.
