Programs for young adults
There are several ministries to young adults run in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis at both the parish and archdiocesan level.
Each of these ministries is run either by a parish or a private group -- oftentimes there are groups that have been formed by young adults who felt that they could fill a need.
Below are a list of some of the ministries and organizations.
Young Adult Mass
The archdiocesan Young Adult Mass exists to gather young adults, age 18 to 40, to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. An event following Mass provides an opportunity for them to meet and socialize with one another, building fellowship within the Catholic young adult community.
Location: Our Lady of the Greenwood Parish, 335 S. Meridian St., Greenwood
Dates: Second Sunday of each month
Time: 6 p.m.
Celebrant: Father Jonathan Meyer, archdiocesan director of youth and young adult ministry
Reception: Immediately following Mass in the church basement

Theology on Tap
Theology on Tap is a young adult speaker series, providing young adults a forum to learn about Catholic faith and traditions, timely topics unique to young adults' place in life, and a social setting to meet fellow young Catholics on their religious journey.
Location: The Elbow Room, 605 N. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis
Dates: Second and fourth Tuesday of each month (except January, May and September)
Time: Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and speaker starts at 7 p.m.

Communion and Liberation: Indianapolis Fraternity
Communion and Liberation is an ecclesial movement whose purpose is the education to Christian maturity of its adherents and collaboration in the mission of the Church in all the spheres of contemporary life. Communion and Liberation is today present in about seventy countries throughout the world. There is no type of membership card, but only the free participation of persons. The basic instrument for the formation of adherents is weekly catechesis, called “School of Community.”

CYAN (Catholic Young Adult Network)
CYAN meets to continue education of the Catholic faith during fellowship with other young adults. Topics vary. There are also various "extra-curricular" events and social activities.
Location: The Marian Center of Indianapolis, 3354 W. 30th St., Indianapolis (on the campus of St. Michael the Archangel Parish)
